Canine Animal Care Provider

This is a permanent, part-time position as a kennel technician. Hours/days are flexible based on your availability, but at least one weekend day is required. Full-time hours also available if desired, especially during peak seasons like Summer.

The job is with Patrick Canine Coastal Resort in western Sonoma County near the coast. We are on a ranch property, so you will need to be able to drive and have reliable transportation. We are a top Canine Boarding and Training facility and we are located 17 miles west of Petaluma near Tomales. We are a small kennel with a dedicated staff, so the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage is important. If you have experience with dogs or you just love them, this job is for you! The following are some of the tasks that you’d be doing as an Animal Care Tech: cleaning, feeding, bathing, grooming, washing out runs, and exercising. This is a physically demanding job. If interested in additional responsibility down the line, we can also help the right candidate get started doing some work in our front office and/or our dog training program as well.

Important requirements:

Must love dogs.

Must be dependable and punctual.

Must have a vehicle you can drive to and from work.

Must be a team player.

Must be able to work in an organized structure.

Must be able to self-manage a dynamic workload.

Must be able to stay on a time schedule.

Must live within 40 miles from our location.

Animal care experience helpful. Can start right away.
